Cellular Medicine

Health and illness are determined at the level of the billions of cells making up all body organs. Human body is healthy when all its cells are healthy.

This concept of cellular medicine represents a continuing of the orthomolecular medicine {greek ortho = correct, right, strait / from the last century , under leadership of the scientist  Linus Pauling (1901-1994), who won two undivided Nobel prizes.

"Orthomolecular medicine is the preservation of our health and the treatment of diseases by changing the concentration of substances in the human body. These substances are normally present in our body and are essential for our health." (prof. Dr. Linus Pauling)

Vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, essencial amino acids and fatty acids, other natural substances are the essencial items, i.e. by correcting chronic deficiencies of these micronutrients healthy cellular and physical functioning can be restored and maintained.

Cellular medicine is cause -oriented, on the other side pharmaceutical drugs supress symptoms, and have often many side effects.

Scientific research from all round the world confirms therapeutical benefits of micronutrients , and with it the work of the Dr. Rath Health Alliance. Dr. Mathias Rath, German doctor of internal medicine, later co-worker of Dr. Pauling research, scientist, nowadays great humanist  is trying to spread world health alphabetisation.

Every day we have a lot of macronutrients in our diet – proteins, carbohydrates and fats. In Slovakia during 21st century there is no lack of food, no lack of macronutrients – we have more like desired. But we need micronutrients most of all - in order to convert macronutrients into bioenergy /citric acid cycle, glycolysis, beta-oxidation of fatty acids and respiratory chain/ and to make it available to the body and for the thousands of specific biochemical or biophysical reactions in our cells / production of enzymes, detoxification processes, protection from free radicals, homone synthesis, good neuromuscular conduction, cognitive functions, reparation of connective tissues, etc/.

Vitamins do not play any role as substrates for energy synthesis or as a building materials for body tissues, but they make these metabolic processes possible. The key vitamin for the entire cellular metabolism is vitamin C : forms and stabilizes connective tissues, corrects cholesterol metabolism, inevitable in  blood formation and boosting the immune system, protection from free radicals, formation of carnitine, etc. Vitamin C has to be a part of every complex multinutrient formulas, and 5 times per day in fuit and vegetable of our food.

Years of chronic deficiency of vitamins and other cellular metabolism biocatalysts are the most frequent causes od cellular malfunctioning and diseases .Plus there is overburden of unfavorable environmental influences – herbicides, pesticides, genetically modified products, food additives, stress of various origin including electromagnetic smog, etc. All these factors increase our demand for essencial micronutrients.

Taking into account the genetic variation of people  and deficiencies of micronutrients , the results are in many pictures : chronic lack of internal energy, frequent infections, gastrointestinal disorders, headaches, vertigo, arthralgias, hypertension, diabetes, atherosclerosis and hypercholesterolemia, heart problems, allergies, astma, cancer,...

By correcting chronic deficiency of cell micronutrients  you can prevent and cure many chronic diseases !

Principle No.1:  Health begins in your kitchen.

We will not change our genetic codes, but  we can change our „kitchen“. It is necessary to look after our food very carefully. Importance has to be oriented to selection of right types of foods, including herbs and spices, freshness of fruit and vegetable, right farming, storage and cooking or preparing meals. I recommend not to use genetically modified food and food compounds that do not occur in nature.

In our central Europe we have to be taught from the Mediteraen cooks of all nations and religions. Traditional Chinese or Indian foof including their medicine is  perhaps in the closest relation with our concept of cellular medicine to maintain acceptable longevity but it is not fully available here. I recommend to travel more often, to educate ourselves, to try  there are no restrictions. It depends only on ourselves, we have our  free will.

Principle No.2: Do not rely on medical doctors – your health is in your hands .

In the case of medical problems just changing of dietary habits is not enough, it is necessary to supplement essential cell nutrients . The right chemical compound and combing of essential  nutrients is desirable – to work in synergy. Our body do not need individual, high-dose vitamins or micronutrients but rather special essential nutrient combination working together in synergy.

Example of a simple synergy: Vitamin C works better when bioflavonoids are added. Synergy means that the end result is better than the sum of individual results, i.e. several mechanisms are working together simultaneously.

Biochemical pathways are exact, with many mutual influences and feedbacks and most of them already known. There are no licences, no patents in relation to vitamins, minerals and other cell micronutrients . It is necessary to increase our knowledge each day and to use it. We give us

the substances that are present in our cells, nothing strange to our body.

Cell medicine is great challenge !
